Lily

I know everyone says their pet is the greatest of all time. But Lily was a truly unique soul. She was like a human trapped in a cats body. She left a huge imprint on my heart. She loved eating EVERYTHING. Which meant stealing off my plate. She was the most regal, most playful, kitten trapped in an older cats body. When she was diagnosed with lymphoma all of the sudden. It was a shocker. She’s the youngest of all my cats. I knew I had to get her genetics preserved. Because I wanted her spirit to live on. She fought the last 10 days of her life with a huge will to live. Unfortunately right when they were going to start chemotherapy. She started declining dramatically. Not a minute goes by that I don’t think about Lily. And the huge hole she left. She was my alarm clock every morning. Crying in my face to get up and give her attention.
